Admission Requirements

 

The number of documents required will depend on the type of program. However, for any program, two pieces of identification are required. The specific requirements for each program are outlined below 

Undergraduate Admission Requirements

A high school diploma (BACC II or NS 4) is required to enter a diploma, associate's and bachelor's degree program. In the event that the recipient already holds an associate's degree, this transcript is required in addition to the high school certificate.  

Graduate Admission Requirements 

A bachelor's degree is required to enter a master's program, while a master's degree is required to enter a doctoral program. 

International Students

 

Non-English speaking candidates wishing to continue their program in bilingual format (French and English)  must demonstrate language proficiency in an interview conducted by the Dean of Admissions. In addition, these individuals with credentials (diploma and transcripts) in a language other than English will need to have their documents (transcripts and diplomas) translated into English and evaluated by a recognized accrediting body in the United States.

Here is the list of documents required: 

  • The application form 

  • High school transcript 

  • Transcripts of all university degrees  

  • Certificate of good conduct Curriculum vitae 

  • A letter of application for admission 

  • Three letters of recommendation 

  • Entrance fee of $100 for American students and 5000 gourdes for Haitian students. 

  • Two (2) recent photographs 

  • Medical certificate 

  • Statement of Intent 

  • Christian Witness (theology students only)

Application Process for the Exemption of Religious Institutions

With respect to its operating license, the Bethsaida International Christian University will apply for an exemption from the Commission for Independent Education of the Florida Department of Education. This authorization, if obtained, will serve as a green light to issue strictly religious degrees at various levels [bachelor, master, and doctoral] in accordance with the statutes of the Florida Bylaws/Section 1005.06(1)(f), F.S. and Regulations 6E-5.001.

 .En ce qui concerne sa licence d'exploitation, l'Université Chrétienne Internationale Bethsaida appliquera pour l’obtention d’une exemption auprès de la Commission pour l'Éducation Indépendante du Département de l'Éducation de l'État de la Floride. Cette autorisation, si obtenue, servira de feu vert pour délivrer des diplômes de nature strictement religieuse à divers niveaux [bachelor, master et doctorat] conformément aux statuts du Florida Bylaws/Section 1005.06(1)(f), F.S. et aux Règlements 6E-5.001.
